Hi all! I’m a lawyer in Nashville, Tennessee, and I’ve been a Clio user for about 7 months.

  1. After more than a decade in a medium size (for Nashville) firm, I started my own boutique banking/creditor’s firm, Anthony Watson
  2. I love exploring new social media and have “law blogged” for more than 10 years at Creditor Rights 101
  3. I’m originally from Memphis and hold my home-town city close to my heart--the music, the food, and--of course--the basketball (Go Tigers and Grizzlies!).
  4. I’m a first generation college graduate, and I love mentoring new lawyers, with a particular interest in helping first generation lawyers and lawyers from under-represented backgrounds.
  5. I’m a big karaoke enthusiast, and, for the Nashville Bar Association, I’m the host of the annual Lawyer Karaoke event (which is way more fun than you’d think it’d be).

Feel free to connect with me for questions in my practice area, in my state, or to say Hi.

5 things about me

  1. I have zero background in law prior to working at Natalie Phan Law - I am an old-school jack-of-all-trades kind of person, ranging from high school mathematics teacher, dance coach, bus driver, data analyst, tech support and most recently running a 3D printing business with my husband (still do this on the side when not working in legal).
  2. I’m good at figuring most things out - I can usually pick things apart (technical and non-technical) and figure out how they work and make sense in whatever context.
  3. My degree is in Mathematics, focusing my research senior year in the areas of cardinality (sizes of sets of things) and fractals.
  4. I love cooking and like to experiment with different types of cuisine.  I’ve been playing around with Malaysian inspired pasta recipes and different styles/adaptations of pavlovas most recently.
  5. Not a lawyer, just a Legal Administrator, however I enjoy being a minion.

Hi, I’m Carina Roselli. I’ve been a Clio user for a bit over a year now and I’m interested to see how this community develops and I’m hoping it will become a forum for us to support each other.

  1. My career has kind of run amuck … I’ve been an international human rights attorney, Army JAG lawyer, and now I primarily focus on trust-based legacy planning with a splash of equine law and land conservation.
  2. I served in the Army for 17 years, first as a helicopter pilot for most of my career and second as a JAG lawyer working in the Army’s new (at the time) Special Victims’ Counsel advocating for victims of military sexual assault.
  3. In addition to my law degree, I have a Masters in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, which I used to use as a human rights attorney working on environmental human rights issues in conflict zones. Now I hope to use it for local land conservation.
  4. I also own/publish a national equestrian magazine that is now digital thanks to COVID-19 shutting all the horse shows down. If you’re into horses… www.eq-am.com
  5. I live in Northern Virginia and I’m married with 3 teenage stepchildren, a rescue dog, and a rescue horse.

@Carina L. Roselli I checked out your Equestrian magazine and it’s great! I took the quiz and I’m a Thoroughbred 🐎.

Hi all! I’m looking forward to getting to know those of you I don’t already know and to helping each other out!

5 Things About Me!

  1. Like Mark Palmer, I am also from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, though I left after law school to work in Knoxville, Chicago, and Atlanta for a while. I’m happy to be back because it is a great place with a wonderful legal community.
  2. I was raised by a mediator/arbitrator - my dad, Peter Feuille - so grew up with a preference for ADR and taking a collaborative rather than oppositional approach to conflitcs.
  3. I have a solo practice (with a client intake specialist :girl_tone2: and purralegal :smiley_cat: to help out) and will likely expand that this year, which both excites and scares me.
  4. I️ can only drink decaf anything these days, which makes me sad because the flavors are limited compared to the real stuff.
  5. I am a huge Rolling Stones fan , and my dad and I ironically got into trouble with the security guards at a show on the No Security show! (everyone in front of us was standing on their chairs too…)

I started drinking tea and when I have to have coffee, our local roastery has a “half-caff” blend that is really great!

Hi everyone!

  1. I am writing from Fayetteville, Arkansas, home of the Arkansas Razorbacks. We have no professional sports in our small state so everyone roots for all things Razorback. I have season tickets to the basketball games and we made it to the elite 8 this year for the first time since 1996!
  2. I own a boutique family law practice. I have one full-time staff person and one associate. We are super focused on wellness and work-life balance due to the nature of our practice. I have owned my practice since 2018 and would never do anything else!
  3. I love yoga. I try to do it every day. I’ve really missed the studio during the pandemic and look forward to going back soon.
  4. I love to read. I try to carry a book with me everywhere I go. If I have a good book, then I would rather reach for that than my phone any day.
  5. I recently switched from coffee to tea. Although I love coffee very much, it makes me a more anxious person and who needs that? I really enjoy my tea now and I think the switch is permanent, although I will have a latte on the weekends if I am craving it.

Hi, everyone!

  1. I am new to Clio and brand new to networking/marketing, since I recently switched to a great firm with a ton of growth potential! As an introvert, I am nervous but excited!
  2. I live in a mountain town of less than 200 people in Colorado and I work remotely via satellite internet because that’s the only internet I can get. Zoom can be a challenge.
  3. I love dogs! I have two St. Bernards (yes, they have their own Instagram) who weigh a combined 250 pounds, and they are small for their breed.
  4. I have been playing piano since I was old enough to climb up on the bench. I’m still not incredible at it, but I have a ton of fun doing it.
  5. I’m a big fan of NFL football (Giants because I grew up in NJ) and NHL hockey (Avalanche because I didn’t get into hockey until after I moved to CO)!

Hello All. I’m Andy from Baltimore, and I just founded the Law Office of Andrew P. Gross, LLC. Here are five things about me:

  1. “From Baltimore,” but I took the long way around: Born in Texas, grew up in Munich, moved to Baltimore, graduated law school here, joined the Army and lived some other places, and came home to Baltimore.
  2. Been in practice 12 years, but only the last 3.5 in the private sector. I was a prosecutor, then I did the Army JAG thing until 2017.
  3. I have two daughters: One is 18 months and the other is almost 4.5 years old, and they are both hysterical, often without trying to be.
  4. I love traveling and eating, but Number 3 on this list, combined with the ‘rona has sidelined those plans a bit. Well, not the eating part.
  5. I nerd out with the technical stuff, especially when it’s used to increase efficiency.

Cheers!

Hi @APGLaw! Congrats on your Law Firm launch! My best friend is moving to Baltimore to attend law school this fall. Any recommendations? Neighborhoods, restaurants, etc?
